What are the Changes allowed on Volaris Flight Bookings?

Couple of changes are allowed to a Volaris flight booking. But you shouldn’t delay it further than the timeline meant for the changes. And the cutoff time is supposed to be before departure. If your outbound flight has departed you can only change the date and timing of return flight. When making changes to origin or destination, do not forget to make corresponding changes to the other flights. Changing the country of originating flight will not be possible. • Up to 4 hours before departure - Itinerary changes like modification in date or destination is allowed.
• Up to 1.5 hours before departure – Name changes are allowed.

Can I Get a Full Refund on Volaris?

Yes you may be able to get a full refund on Volaris when your travel plans have changed. Here are the two options given to you for a full refund. But they are will cost you a nominal charge.

• Hold my fare - This will protect your ticket price for up to 72 hours.
• Cancel for any reason - This product lets you cancel up to 24 hours before departure.

How can you Modify a Volaris Booking?

Make sure your departure is still 4 or more hours away.  No change will be allowed otherwise. You will be responsible for the fare difference if the original fare is not available. Modification of an itinerary will apply to all passengers in the booking. Group bookings for which a partial payment has been made cannot be modified. Changes can also be made at the airport but this will require you to pay a higher charge if the departure is close. Here is the process of modifying a Volaris booking.

• Go to the Volaris website and navigate to the "My Trips" section.
• Enter your reservation code and your last name as it appears on your booking confirmation.
• Click on "Go to my reservation" to access your booking details.
• Under your booking details, select the "Change Your Flight" option.
• Choose the specific flights you want to change.
• Select the new date and choose your desired flights from the available options.

Review your changes, and if there are any fare differences or change fees, complete the payment to finalize the changes.

How much do I pay for Flight Change on Volaris?

You will not have to pay Volaris change flight fee when you have added Flexibility Combo. This flexibility product can be added only at the time of initial booking. Or you change your mind within 24 hours of the booking when your flight is still 7 days away. But you are still responsible for fare difference if any. Here is how your charges will be assessed.

• Flexibility Combo – At least $60 per passenger per flight.
• Changes made more than 15 days before departure – Starts at $40 per passenger per flight
• Changes made less than 15 days before departure - Starts at $70 per passenger per flight.

Can I make a same day flight change on Volaris?

A same day flight change will not be possible if you have already checked in. Also you cannot ask for a Volaris same day flight change within 1 hour departure. Here are other conditions Volaris has set for those looking for same day flight change.

• Only short-haul routes may qualify.
• You can avoid charges if you have flexibility combo.
• The departure airport and the arrival airport must remain the same.
• A fee may be charged if you do not have flexibility combo.
